Is made up of 85% Tall Fescue and 15% Kentucky Blue Grass. This Lawn is a deep green colour and can tolerate 50% shade and also direct sunlight. Tall Fescue is hard wearing lawn ideal for Melbourne’s weather conditions. Tall Fescue is available all year round.
This is a fine, soft-leaf couch grass that prefers the sun and heat of the warm season and therefore is less tolerant of shade than many other types of turf. Santa Anna Couch has above ground runners (stolons) and underground runners (rhizones) which gives good density (matting) qualities.
Kikuyu is a light green, medium soft-leaf perennial creeper that has above ground runners (stolons) and below ground runners (rhizones) with a high level of thatching, making this variety quick to establish and relatively drought tolerant.
Kenda is an improved Male Sterile variety of Kikuyu, with a superior deep green winter colour to most other grass varieties. It is also very tolerant to frost and cold winters.
